The app is designed to run locally. Your transaction data, receipts, and notes are stored on your device and are never uploaded to our servers. Specifically:
- Transactions & Categories: Stored locally in an on-device database.
- Receipts: Photos you attach are saved in the app’s private storage.
- Excel/PDF/ZIP Imports & Exports: Handled via the Android System File Picker (SAF) or Google Drive, with your explicit consent.
- OCR (Receipt Scanning): By default, OCR uses our app’s credits system. You may also provide your own Google Vision API key. Keys are stored securely on your device only.
2. Third-Party Services
The app integrates with third-party services. These services may collect limited data under their own policies:
- Google Drive – For optional imports/exports you initiate.
- Google Play Billing – To process Pro unlocks and OCR credit purchases.
- Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) – To display ads in the free version. AdMob may collect identifiers (including the Advertising ID).
- Firebase – For analytics and crash reporting, to help improve app stability.
- Google Vision API (optional) – Used for OCR receipt scanning if you enable it. You may use your own key or the app’s credit system.

3. Data Security
We do not operate our own servers and we never sell or share your personal data. Your files, receipts, and transactions remain under your control on your device or your Google Drive account.
4. Free vs Pro
- All users receive 10 starter OCR credits plus 5 free credits per month.
- Both Free and Pro users can bring their own Google Vision API key (BYOK).
- Pro users unlock: ad-free experience, unlimited themes, advanced filters, and the ability to export filtered data to Google Drive and Downloads.
5. Your Choices
You can control your data and privacy directly:
- Delete receipts anytime from the in-app Receipts screen.
- Manage categories/tags and transactions locally.
- Use the app entirely offline if you do not connect Google Drive or OCR.
